HELLO!!!

I've had this idea to start blogging for some time. Actually, the story has already begun a couple of months ago when I bought the domain and hosting - in January 2020. However, many doubts were coming to my mind. What will I write about? Am I ready to expose myself to the public? What if no one reads this blog?...to name just a few... The infrastructure has been waiting and I have been in this "to start or not to start" loop for over 10 months. At the time, I've been quite busy with writing my PhD thesis, doing projects for my CS studies' classes, taking care of my 3-year-old, husband and the whole household and many other not-worth-mentioning things.....

Here I am 10 months later...

I'm done with writing the thesis. As of today, it is submitted to error checking and I'm awaiting a defence. Thus, I have fewer responsibilities and no good excuse not to start this blog. The academic year at my Computer Science studies has just started, it's the first semester of my specialization, so I hope it will bring interesting topics to ponder and write about. It came the time to finally start publishing. Main aims of this blog are to practise my writing (English is not my first language), to make a habit of consistent writing (the toughest part for me), to develop my knowledge in the field of CS and what is most important, make it stick, to keep cool and helpful stuff (to me) in one place. If in the meantime, this blog helps someone else on their road somewhere, I'll be pleased. I am going to write mainly about everyday life, what I do to stay fit both physically and mentally, nice things I came into - about programming and other stuff that will come to my mind. Generally, it seems that I will declutter my mind here :-). That's it more or less. Let's see how will this journey unfold!
